Have you seen the Newcastle away kit for next season lol.

Just further proof that the Saudi PIF are absolutely in no way linked to the Saudi state and its a sports washing attempts. Why else would they pick the Saudi national strip as their new away one :|
Nearly identical to the Saudi national kit :))

Looking forward to the Prem and FA telling the Saudis aka bin Salman - the most powerful man on the planet - that he can't mess with Newcastle's history and traditions
Fucking hell 😂
Newcastle fans must be pissed.
There are some who think this is a step too far. But others on social media swear it's a coincidence (seriously, this is the power of sportwashing). And others think it's a purely commercial move to appeal to new fans.

For me, and virtually all football sponsors like Adidas, Nike etc a better commercial move is to appeal to the two massive stand alone wealthy markets where all of football is sold towards, that being the 400m people in the US and 1.2bn people in China. But no. A small country in the desert is better apparently.

Rumours are their new shirt sponsor is going to be Saudi Golf. The CEO of the org has just become a director at Newcastle. Nothing nepotistic or corrupt about that.

Even a draw for City wouldn't be a bad result, given the circumstances, but they have a potentially tricky game against Villa on the last day.

2-1. Excellent goal by Grealish.

City's defending is almost as bad as ours. So many unforced errors.

Evra was right, City have developed a bottlejob mentality. The loss to Real could be curtains for the Pep era. They've almost definitely peaked under him

Second time the bid has stalled cos Abramovic is trying to get his 1.6bn loan back

He's trying to get the money paid into an account run by a company he has access to

The cut off date is the 31 May. The gov will extend it no doubt. But the danger for Chelsea is that this rumbles on for months and they're stuck in limbo with players contracts running out, unable to sign players, have a full capacity stadium etc.

It could be a case of who blinks first. If Abramovic sees how his insistence on reclaiming the money is costing Chelsea on the pitch, he might leave it. But at the end of the day he's a businessman whose lost nearly all of his wealth due to sanctions. So who knows. He could be desperate.

These are the problems you invite when you take the money of a war criminal. The highs and lows of letting a war criminals' best mate own a football club. You love to see it.
