If you scroll down on that twitter page feed, there's a 6 min video of Eric coaching the reserves on how to play out from the back under pressure and that's the kind of shit the first team haven't been doing. So yeh, hopefully it's a step forward.

So he's not going anywhere any time soon.
New deal till 2024 with option for an extra year.
If we actually get 1/2 or all 3 of varane, trippier and a cm(alot of ifs granted), he needs to make sure we have a proper title push. No more rebuild takes time excuse.

Ed really doesn't understand when to hand out new deals ffs. He gave Jose a big new contract as he headed in to his third season making it really expensive to sack him.jason_uk wrote: ↑2 years ago https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/57954333

Ole is at the same point. If he isn't challenging for the title by Christmas, after 2 and a half years of building his project, he'll be under massive pressure. But now we'll probably be stuck with him.
I think Ole is doing well in terms of team spirit, signings, morale, and all that. But I’ve yet to see any indication that he can get us playing progressive, quality football. I’d like to see us using the ball like a top team, and see some evidence of players being coached to play in different positions etc.
What Chelsea has done last season has discredited the whole long-term rebuild thing. They brought in a top manager mid-season, and he instantly turned their shitty defence into the league’s best defence, and then won them the CL. Tactics, coaching, it does actually matter.

Ole will have no excuses this season. If Varane does come off and we keep/replace Pogba, it has to be a title push plus a trophy.

Aye, nowhere to hide for Ole next season. Although don't expect him to get sacked now that Ed has given him a new deal. It'll probably be after we've finished paying off Jose that Ole will get the boot.

Plus a new, league record for unbeaten games away from home. Mental stats for a manager with so many question marks still over him.brianofnazarethffs wrote: ↑2 years ago “Ole has the second-highest win percentage of United managers after 100 top-flight games in charge. “ SSN.
