What would Mourinho have done with de Gea in the first couple of seasons, when he had those few bad mistakes and a lot of negative press?

Fascinating that, Sheesh. Fergie never shouted at him - not surprised, he was a great man manager, he sussed De Gea is the type of character you get more out of by supporting rather than criticising.

And it's a good point that De Gea becoming the best keeper in europe is a lot down to Fergie.

Surely he’s the best in the world already...?

I was going to say it's been a while since we heard anything. But I just don't trust the Mail. Everyone wants the first exclusive, they could be bullshitting. If they're not then it's good news but also a massive invasion of privacy tbf.

Here's another tribute. This time, it's from Paul Ince:

I first started supporting United when they had players like Hughes, Ince, Kanchelskis and Giggs. Cantona, of course.

He’s now out of intensive care! That’s amazing news, I didn’t know people survived this!

Hoping he makes a full recovery!
