I'd suggest we're long past the point where "is it curtains" is anything other than a rhetorical question. Better questions would be "when is it curtains for us?" or "can we undo the shit we've done or is it irreversibly curtains for us?"

Ah well, we had a nice run eh. Tbf my existential dread is switching to resignation. It's just a case of doing what we can. It int buying plastic straws. Direct action, and supporting indigenous groups around the world who're at the forefront of capitalism's suicidal exploitation of oil fields, rainforests etc. But let's be real, it's not happening in the UK, not til we're seeing regular scenes like in Germany recently.
