Re: Unrealistic summer transfer wankfest III
First off, City wouldn't sell him... I'm not so sure. The owners must recognise that his star is rapidly fading, and imagine how much they'd love to fleece us for a big fee, only for him to be a completely flop! After all that bollocks with his birthday cake last year, I reckon they'd gladly get sh...

Re: Unrealistic summer transfer wankfest III
I hope Woodward has the sense to be telling De Gea, "if Real value you so much, why are they risking not signing you for at least another year for the sake of what is, to them, a piddling sum of money?" Seems optimistic. Woodward has shown on every occasion up to now that he's a piss-poor...

Re: Other Teams' Stuff

I can't even begin to imagine what it would be like to go through something like that (not that I want to). Even if there is a deeper issue to this,...

30 years ago today was the Heysel stadium disaster. I was too young to have any awareness of it at the time, but I've heard enough about it numerous times over the years to at least have an idea of what was going on. The Guardian have a piece on it here: http://www.theguardian.com/football/2005/apr/...

Re: Unrealistic summer transfer wankfest III
I dunno about the Zaha-Depay comparison, from what I understood, the problem with Zaha was not down to his talent or ability, more about his attitude and worth ethic (and possibly to a lesser extent, fucking Moyes' daughter when he was still boss).
