The only thing I'm worried about is Looey...Sid wrote:This has come around quick

Is he going to let them play?
Or is he going to hold them back???
"Badges, to god-damned hell with badges! We have no badges. In fact, we don't need badges. I don't have to show you any stinking badges, you god-damned cabrón and ching' tu madre! Come out from that shit-hole of yours. I have to speak to you."

Hmm... Front three of Depay/Rooney/Mata sounds really good on paper tbh, but will Van Gaal let them play? I think a big problem is how Van Gaal instructed his attacking players last night, and also last season after our good run. He basically tells them to stay in their positions most of the time, which in turn causes the very frustrating lack of movement up-front. And lack of movement = no space = no chances.
Oh, and by the looks of it, Herrera won't start against Spurs... he was one of our best players whenever he played last season! I would much prefer a midfield three of Carrick/Schneiderlin/Herrera (if LVG lets Schneiderlin play more forward) to something that includes Schweini instead of Herrera - all three always seemed to occupy the space in front of the defence, with none of them going forward and moving around (I suspect again it's down to LVG's instructions).
So yet again, we're seeing some very worrying signs from Van Gaal... Time will tell.
