He’d probably look great in a weaker league, he’d be pulling off defence-splitting passes, and dribbling past players. The kind of thing he did that made us sign him. But at United, he just doesn’t seem to be quite good enough to do anything other than keep it very simple. His passing is mostly pointless, and he puts himself about without actually being a very effective defensive player. I think we spent 50 million for a Cleverly-style player; he’s not as good as Anderson was in his first couple of seasons with us, before he got fat.FuB wrote: ↑1 month agoLikewise. You can't fault his attitude and how he's kept going despite difficult beginningsfat maradona wrote: ↑1 month agoAs much as I moan about him getting so much game time, I'd fucking love it if he did become a top player.

Amad Diallo completed three take-ons for #mufc against Real Sociedad, more than any other player in the second half. He came on in the 82nd minute #mulive [@Squawka]

Not on for long enough to really judge. Hope he gets a decent chance to show what he can do.

Yeah he should give Bruno a rest, I agree. It’s mad. Have him on the bench if it all goes wrong, sure, but this competition isn’t worth knackering our key players.
But I suppose Ole is traumatized by us beating PSG and Leipzig in the first legs then getting hammered by them in the return legs. He seems to be taking Europa seriously.

Its inexcusable, we have a lot of games left, and have a genuine chance to rest the one player who carries all our hopes, and he just decides, nope.
And yep, perfect chance to blood diallo into the 11.
