What's funny is you didn't enjoy the 4 league wins in a row at the time because you hated Gaal, now you'll be waiting another 20/30 years for it to happen again :))

This maguire deal is depressing me.. if we sign him for 80+ it's just crazy.
He is an average English CB, overhyped at the wc, no doubt an upgrade on what we have, but not worth it.
Alderweield at 25 mill, better player imo right now, 30 years old, put him in for 2 seasons, and see how axel looks over those 2 seasons.
I cant actually believe it hasn't happened, unless he was approached and said no.

no when we beat em in a friendly and you counted it as four in a row
14 Dec 2014 Manchester United 3-0 Liverpool Premier League

22 Mar 2015 Liverpool 1-2 Manchester United Premier League

12 Sep 2015 Manchester United 3-1 Liverpool Premier League

17 Jan 2016 Liverpool 0-1 Manchester United Premier League

But now you mention the win in preseason it's actually 5 in a row. Not even Tim Sherwoody could manage that.

Not interested in Pepe or Fernandes and Maguire and Longstaff are too expensive...
Skysports reporting that Napoli have agreed a fee for Pepe and now it's up to him if he wants to move to Italy. A bit disappointing to be heavily linked to a player like Pepe and then finding out it's all a load of tabloid bullshit.

If you scroll through the pages of this thread you'll find that's a common theme...

It's outfits like Sky Sports, not to mention the British tabloids, that perpetuate the transfer hype - I'm sure player agents and club press officials are instructed to leak this crap to get a player's name out there, but I'm equally convinced "journalists" make half the shite up too for click bait and selling purposes. It'd be just as easy to start a Twitter rumour that Neymar is in advanced talks to sign for us with no credibility and watch it snowball as it's picked up, retweeted etc.

It's all just clickbait shite

Same paper, same journo, 2 weeks apart and 2 polar opposite articles, 2nd one posted as tho the 1st never existed, its shameless.
These sports "journalists" just spout whatever drama inducing article comes into their heads.

Huh. Roughly the same age and Lukaku has the better scoring record. Maybe a fair swap then - Dybala had an awful season so perhaps Juve are happy to move on too. Hopefully it works out better than Mkhi/Sanchez (if it happens)
