Jose did his thing of sending all the kids out on loan to any old bag of shit club so he didn't have to deal with them. He did the same thing at Chelsea. Let someone else develop em because he can't. Fosu-Mensah was the only one that got a Prem club (Fulham ffs second worst in the country) and they didn't even play the cunt. 4 months on his arse, rotting. Ole needs to assess whether any of em are salvagable after a couple of seasons of stagnation.Lazarus wrote: ↑7 months agoThis is hardly encouraging about our loan players.......

It's another reason why a club that's actually capable of developing top young players should have avoided Pulis. One of those kids might have become a first teamer, like Rashford, and saved us a ton of money. But no, Ed knows best.
So this story of Martial being unsellable because he’s a Glazer favourite got a bit more legs on ESPN:

“ESPN sources say” is the key phrase.
Is this for real? Is this people in or around Ole, or sympathetic to him, waging an anonymous plausibly deniable battle in the press?
Van Gaal has come recently to say, “United is fucked”. Jose has certainly said it. Whatever you might think about their approaches to football, they’re both serious managers, not bankers.
Maybe things are that bad. Makes you think talk of Fletcher etc being DoF isn’t so bad. Could be Ferguson and the other geezers fighting to have us be a serious outfit, rather than having transfers determined by coked up bankers and ad space salesmen.

Woodward and the Mad Men have sold United based on its history and potential of returning to glory. Companies are not going to continue to fork over millions to be associated with a club fighting to get into the Europa Cup. They will want their "Brand" associated with a winner because that's what sells.
7 years of shite suggests otherwise. Like Woodward said "playing performance doesn't really have a meaningful impact on what we can do on the commercial side of the business." Relying on commercial markets to save us isn't a good idea.RedDevilinAZ wrote: ↑6 months agoWoodward and the Mad Men have sold United based on its history and potential of returning to glory. Corporations are not fans; so do the shell out millions to a title winner or to an also ran?Sid wrote: ↑6 months ago7 years of shite suggests otherwise.
