Bit sad for Macheda, maybe I got caught up in his hype after his league-saving cameo a couple of years ago, but I really thought he was a big one for the future, then again I previously thought that about Danny Webber and Guiseppe Rossi too. Fuck sake, why can't any of our youth team players do anything? I know the class of '92 was a once-in-a-generation thing, but surely we could produce one player once in a while who can break through the ranks and force themselves into superstardom!
