The issue if you think about it is not going down, I'm fine with that because Rooney did that to protect himself. It's not going up to the ref and saying sorry but no penalty but the cunt was going to take him out.

Look at it again, that was no Ashley or Robben, ffs.
^^this.

Nah, let's be honest. His goal will be forgotten.
You'd have ranters here looking for any excuse to moan about Fellaini all day.

I'm sure Alf will revolt against Rooney now.
He hates Young and Alves because they're cheating cunts.
Or he'll come up with an excuse for Rooney again. Hmm. More likely the latter.
Hmm. Rooney dived because Van Gaal fucked him up playing him in midfield.
Van Gaal OUT!!!

Dermot Gallagher is on talksport now. Says it's a penalty all day, every day. Goalkeeper to blame. Took a risk by coming out feet first.

Honestly, he was the worst player on the pitch when he played in midfield.

He did OK up front, the only reason he looked better there than the awful Falcao was because PNE's players were too tired to double up on him like they did on Falcao in the 1st half.

Can't deny that he's an aerial threat in attack, hopefully we won't have to rely on him so often in the future though...

But he scored with his feet. He's scored a decent no of goals with his feet and quite classy ones too.
I recall the dribble in some game where he shoots it in the top right corner.
He scored an other more recently by lobbing the ball up and whacking it.
He gets into good goal-scoring positions too.
Let's look past the chest control and his head and admit that he's been good as a player with his feet anyway.

He's shit in midfield. A handful up front, if you're happy with us playing that way. We're like West Ham under fucking Allardyce.

Lots of people being soft on England's Wayne Rooney

It's a dive, end of

There is no contact and he goes down, so it's a dive

"He was getting out of the way of the keeper" you can do that without falling to your knees though, and then turning around to look at the ref and ask for a penalty

It's ridiculous, he just fucking dives. There's even a clear moment when he remembers to dive - after the contact was supposed to have hit

How many England captain's are diving cheats, because there seems to be quite a few

Gerrard without a doubt, Rooney, Lampard will have done

No-one likes to admit that diving is as much a part of the English game as it has been since the rules about fouls were introduced. Players were called out for it for as long as I can remember and further.

I can't be doing with these people claiming it's a "foreign cancer" that has been "brought into our game by foreign players". Talking out their arses.

There was an international between Scotland and England in the 1920's that was controversially won by England through diving. As long as there are people, there will be people trying to deceive and bend the rules. It's unrealistic to expect everyone to play fair.
