Can't see much difference in the way we play now than under Fergie tbh. Mainly cause its the same players.
Under Fergie we might have got a downright dodgy decision our way but that's basically it .

Some players .need to retire , some need to be replaced but nit goin to happen till next summer.
Obviously it's important we finish top four to attract these new players.

Lallana blocking the goalies view is bad defending.
I can see us improving now these silly internationals are out of the way.
Agree Kagwa should play every week. There are a few players right now playing too many nonsensical low percentage Hollywood balls that come to nothing .
Evra is woefully out of form too and causing a shed load of unnecessary problems in defence.

Fergie and Gill were at the game yesterday. The expressions on their faces said it all.

United fans react to the result:

The current situation is attributable to a few factors

This is not a good squad with quality in depth. Have to deploy 40 years old Giggs as a winger ( then change to CM after Wellbeck) says it all. Ferdinand is old. Smalling is slow and short of confidence. Rafael this season form is bad. Evra and Vidic are aging. Andersen should have gone. Young form has been bad ever since he missed the penalty in Euro 12. Valencia has confidence issue. Nani needs games to build consistency. RVP saved us from a few bad games last season ( hat trick against Southampton away ) but couldn't do it anymore.

If 50% of the media reports on our transfer activities this summer are accurate, Moyes and the new CEO can't escape the blame. Disorganized, confused, misinformed market information. Did business like playing Championship Manager computer game. New managers also were appointed for City, Chelsea. They did good business. Obviously the transition of works between Fergie/Gill and Moyes/new CEO was badly done.

Signing genuine world class player could lift a team up and give the whole team hope and confidence ( look at Ozil impact in Arsenal). Why didn't we sign Ozil if he was available?

We have turned around many 8 points gap before. But we lack the players and I don't think Moyes is ready to do so this season.

The supporters are turning on DM already and he had better change his mentality quickly before this blows up in his face and he loses the dressing room too.

SAFs book is coming out soon. Could that make things even worse?

Looking at the standings won't actually tell one much about a football club, watching the football will. No one who watched United play last season can be much surprised by the start the club has made to this season.

RvP is in a slump, Rooney wants to play elsewhere, Vidic, like Rio, is succumbing to age and injury, de Gea is still on the rise, but has an unsettled back four in front of him, and Kagawa doesn't even play. Another big problem is that United let another summer transfer window go by without buying a CM. Oh, his stats from yesterday will be padded with four 'interceptions' he knew nothing about—the ball was kicked straight at him, but as a midfielder, Fellaini is better likened to Yo Yo Ma than Ya Ya Toure. Cleverley may actually be a better CM, which means that the surprising emergence of Januzaj is the only improvement on last season's squad, but the drop in form from several key players seems to be outweighing that improvement.

Januzaj is the only bright spot atm Im afraid. We look toothless and disjointed in attack, many players look short of confidence, we STILL don't have that CM, DM looks out of his depth, and the pressure continues to mount. Supporters are quickly turning on DM and I fear the protests against the Glazers will resume just creating more chaos. Why oh why didn't we keep Pogba? We can see with Ozil's arrival that one player can make a huge difference.

Moyes made a bullshit defensive sub but that's it. He started 442 with attacking players. There's just no fluidity, it's been a feature of our football under Moyes, and I suspect it's the coaching.

We don't have a style yet, we're like England.
