The gov has delayed fans' return to stadiums https://www.theguardian.com/sport/2020/ ... s-stadiums so that's undoubtedly going to impact how much we have to spend

The Glazers & Woodward are fucked. It's all come to a head after 8 years of shite. They're under more pressure than ever before to sort their shit out but at the same time there's a pandemic and all 3 of our revenue streams have dried up.

If only we could get our shit together and organise some direct action against the cunts. It might be the tipping point that gets rid of em
surely a global pandemic is a great time to hide away and not invest, safe in the knowledge that no mass protest gatherings are possible, nor is a bunch of oiks jetting off to Florida (or wherever the ginger cunts live) going to be likely
You'd think so but BLM did some great work during the first outbreak / lockdown. Those that brought the Colston statue down too.

Btw I just listened to the latest NQAT pod were Ed talks about the financials. Very interesting. Losing our 3 revenue streams wouldn't matter so much if we could actually sell players. We could generate a fair bit of money that way. But no one will pay them what Ed pays em.

Wolves sign semedo for potential 37mill.
Along with fabio silva, and hoever. They are doing good business.
Never mind utd pushing on from 3rd, we'll be lucky to hold a top 4 finish with money Chelsea have spent, wolves and Everton all doing good deals.

I dont think we will get top 4. Its not just about other squads having strengthened, other clubs have also had something approaching a break and pre-season. It could take us a few weeks to catch up in terms of fitness and we're more likely to burn out.

Added to which, there's an air of malaise around the club. Going into the summer we actually had a platform to go and kick on a level. We haven't, and if you stand still then you end up going backwards.

Read that we are going to trigger Lingard's 1 year contract extention. That'll be £5m down the drain then....

Extending all these contracts backfires. We never get any money from selling them, and in the meantime you’re just flushing more money down the toilet in wages.

When I saw that Mata was in over 8M a year ffs. And any nothing player in the squad earns 4 or 5 at least. How much do we pay people combined who never even get on the pitch? Madness.

How much would the salary be for a top director of football? Coupe of million at the most? A fortune by any normal standard, but they'd instantly save the club 40 or 50 times that amount in the first couple of windows.

I wish the Glazers and the people they'd put in charge of the club were just cynical but competent business people. We'd be far better off. Instead they're incompetent parasites running the place into the ground.

Smalling got a new contract 3 days before Jose was sacked, when we effectively had no manager cos the board knew they were going to sack him. And Jones got a new contract when Ole was still only temporary manager and he admitted he has no input into transfers. These decisions weren't made by football people, they were made by Woodward acting as a DoF.

So now we're paying Smalling to play for another club and Jones just sits there earning millions whilst contributing nothing, not even in the league cup or europa. It's a disgrace. So much money wasted. Between those two numpties you're talking 15/20m in the Ole era, unless, hopefully, Roma are paying Smalling's wage.

Who is the top director who are better at scouting the right players when compared to the manutd staff (present and past) and scouts? Klopp?

What are you talking about? Have you seen how some other clubs are run?

A director is just a title. The football staff eventually makes the decisions and the director is just an other one of those guys.
