I don't think anyone's going to play this weekend.
If anything games which needed going abroad should have been suspended. It looks like it's too late now and everything will be paused.

Hudson-Odoi tested positive, so presumably that’s Chelsea out of action. There’s a UEFA conference call on Tuesday for all clubs, when they’re expected to end the CL and Europa. I think the season’s over.

Says a lot about the premier leagues attitude to fans. As soon as a couple of people within the game test positive, they act. But bollocks to the general public.

Football is basically finished for the foreseeable. Fucking gutted. But it's for the best. Good to see em taking action rather than the government who're relying solely on people's immune systems.

Aye. People come first.

Shitty timing though - we're on a roll and it'd have been a good time to play Spurs. That said, if the league just finishes now, maybe its a good way to sign off in terms of selling ourselves as a club back on the up to potential targets....

60%... A mortality rate of 2% means 800k dead. Starting to look like a eugenics experiment to see whether Dominic Cummings' data points are correct.

Yeah it's a shame for things to end (I expect that it will be hard to get the season going again) just when we were getting some good momentum. I was skeptical, but Ighalo was starting to look like a handy signing, against some of the drossier sides at least. And Bruno obviously looks great.

Three questions for United:

(1) if the season isn't finished, where does that leave the club in terms of making a decision on Ole? I'm sure they'll stick with him now, but I'd have liked to have finished the season properly to judge him. We might have finished anywhere between 3rd and 8th.

(2) And what's this all going to mean for transfers? Clubs are going to take a big financial hit from all that lost revenue. It might depress prices in the summer. Will anyone pay for Pogba?

(3) Are we in the CL or not??? We're 5th, but Sheffield have a game in hand that would put them above us if they won it.

I'm not just saying this because it'd be funny as fuck to see the scousers not win the league, but the only was I can see them doing this to ensure equity and to not get mired in legal cases is to void the season for 'force majeure' reasons. Do it on a blanket basis across all UEFA leagues and cups. No promotions or relegations, everything starts again next season.

I think you’re right. No CL for us though then.
