Ooh, who's the chap on the left?? He's dreamy and would sell a few shirts for us like Becks...

Yeah that sums it well. I saw Fernandes do a lot of pointing and yelling, for a guy who's been at the club for 24 hours, just goes to show how bleedingly obviously incompetent our movement is to a pro.

Bruno reminded me of Pogba yesterday. There’s obvious differences in their game, Pogba’s a real dribbler and I don’t know if Bruno has the long passing Pogba has, but there’s a lot of similarities too. They both try to make things happen in the attacking third and take that responsibility on. Lien happened with Pogba under Jose then Ole, Bruno also got repositioned deeper yesterday. Then falling back on taking long shots like Pogba does when he’s not finding players making good runs into the box. Then, like Pogba often does, getting a bit desperate forcing things a bit in the end with balls over the top that don’t reach the player. Rashford is maybe our only forward at the moment that makes good runs and takes on defenders, Martial doesn’t look like half the player when he doesn’t have someone like Rashford to play with.

I really liked fernandes. He kept possession and unlike Pogba is very quick at making decisions and passing the ball in tight situations. Pogba plays well only when he has time. He can't deal with city and pool's intensity and press.
We controlled the game after fernandes dropped deep. Hopefully when pogba is back he can play deep where he gets the time he wants and fernandes will play further forward where we need his quick decision making.
And unlike Pogba Bruno doesn't seem to need the excuse of needing specific players or formations. It's only one game I know.

Speaking of Pogba what happened to Laz? Haven't heard from him for a while.
