Yep, it is indeed a good summation of the situation.

I don't mind us not taking the City approach -- we can't have two big money buys for each position. Liverpool and Spurs got their rebuilds going under Klopp and Poch by making the most of some of the players already on the books and putting faith in youth. But they had signed managers with strong track records in that respect. There's simply no evidence that Ole is the man to make the most of what we have. I'd fancy Klopp or Poch to make top four with our current squad.

Apart from that, everything is ok!
Fuck me, after reading his appraisal it's hard to be too positive about this new season.

Reading that makes you think if Ole can get anything out of us he'll be doing well.....

So do we have a good squad or a bad squad Bman? You want it every way.

The key to this season will be playing as a team and getting the very most out of every player, regardless of formation or starters or style of play or anything else. Unfortunately, there are so many things that need to go perfectly in order for this approach to be successful and even minor issues will cause the approach to fall apart.

Well we’ve got Pogba, so there’s some hope.

...but you've said everybody he plays with is shite and not up to his standard in fact they're the reason he looks bad. So which is it good squad or bad? Just like Pogba you've no consistency.

Our recruitment set up sounds like a total mess. Compare that article above to this:
