We really should have bought Eriksen but idk if he didn't want to come or Ole didn't want him. I only heard rumours.
Don't think he was interested. Maybe he might be if Real don't go for him before the window closes.

Comparing a full season to one game is apples to oranges really.

4 chances and 2 assists playing mostly in our own half is pretty amazing though. Especially since, if you watched the match, you’d know that one assist was a long pass but the other was dribbling and running with the ball. Not many players can do both, which is why Pogba’s potential is so high. If we’re replacing him next summer we might need two players.

Ndombele looks quite similar, shame we didn’t go for him. He has a goal and assist already, playing in a new league.

Agreed and I'm not jumping on the Pogba fanboy bandwagon. But it's an interesting stat for the Chelsea game, we all thought he played like a lazy, uninterested cunt for most of the match but the stats show that he made a difference. It's the age old argument though, he should be doing this on a more consistent basis.

Holy fuck, the shapes people are twisting themselves into to try and explain Pogba is hilarious.

Make sense please Laz. The stats, compiled by some statto somewhere, indicate he created 4 chances and made 2 assists. No one is saying he was world class but it's an alternative perspective to what most of us saw over 90 mins.

What part of that sentence doesn't make sense to you?

During the Chelsea game Pogba’s entire demeanor changed after the Rashford penalty. Until that goal he had spent most of the game slowly following the ball around the pitch or picking hisself up off the grass after either falling from little or no contact or tripping over his own feet, his lackadaisical approach to games is probably what pisses me off more than anything else about him. Pogba has always had something of a flat track bully approach to his game and when the opposition put an extra player on him, he can take hisself out of the game,

By the time Martial scored there was a physical difference in the way Pogba was playing, no more half hearted run, no longer knocked over by a breeze and his body language was saying that he wanted to play. When he plays that way he is almost unstoppable, I don’t know what makes the difference in his play but if we ever discover it should be bottled and force fed to him before every game.
