Have you heard Steve Bunce talking about it? It's ace, he gives it the enthusiasm it deserves. He was borderline teary at one point. Said its one of the all time greats like from the Tyson, Lennox, Holyfield era.

I watched it last night after the doc about him on BBC, he is a beast, he reminds me of what i thought Bruno could be, only with brains and composure. Hope he turns into a proper heavyweight champ. It's been way too long since there was one i gave a shit about.

Aye... you can't not like him... seems like a genuinely nice lad... unusual in this sport of loud mouth braggarts... I hope it's really him and not some manufactured persona dreamt up by Hearn...

On the boxing side though, to be honest, I'm still not convinced he's for real... in that fight, he showed heart, and guts I didn't know he had, cause he was in deep shit, and battled his way back into it... always knew he had devastating power, and that will get him through more often than not... but I'm still not too sure about his basic skills or his chin... he'll come up against better fighters than a 41 year old Klitschko, and harder hitters as well... he's got to work on his defence and needs a much better jab to keep the oppo honest... Klitschko was just wading through it, pawing at him, looking for his own attacks... not good enough for me... not if he aspires to be a great... he's still got a lot to learn...

You have to remember it's only his 19th fight, Alf. A lot of fighters wouldn't fight a top pro like Klitschko until their 25th. But like he said he's learning under the lights - and making a ton of fucking money in the process. But aye I think his team got the tactics wrong. I agree he needs to be cleverer, lighter and box. They thought he could blitz the 41 year old and finish it early. But a world class champ like Wlad doesn't stay on the canvas for long. And he was fit as fuck - fitter than most younger fighters.

Thing is who is there to fight? Fury will be massive but there's still a few question marks over his quality. Wilder will be massive as well but he's not fought anyone good. He's an experienced pro with 38 fights but he's dodged Klitschko, dodged Fury, dodged all the british heavyweights like Haye, Whyte, Chisora.

The lack of quality US heavyweights is a real problem. Josh will rise to the top and it might be 5-10 years before they produce a top one that can challenge him.

I'm with Sid, he's relatively inexperienced and still young. He seems to develop every time i've seen him. I think he'd destroy Fury, his muscle mass absorbs heavy shots and they work like demons on it, Fury doesn't have that and Joshua's body punches will hurt him. I also think he's got smarts much more than many boxers and he wants to be the best. But there aren't too many potential opponents about.
