so let's see, the pound is stronger than it was pre referendum, the ftse has stabilised, the rest of the world is shitting itself, all the bluster from Obama to Merkel has hastily turned into, oh well, it's a democratic process, can we please start trade negotians as soon as you are ready.

Plus other countries are bricking it because the disenfranchised in their own populations are already starting rumblings of getting out themselves. Slap it fuckin up them.

And the remain camp has been as racist as anyone, far too many people just automatically saying are you white and you voted leave?? You're a racist. No fuckwits, you're the fuckin racist because you've just judged me based on the colour of my skin. But then it's only white people that are racist isn't it. Moany cunts.

Yes there are racists in the UK, there are racists everywhere. It's easy to pick the odd interview out of the thousands that have happened when asking people on the street for their opinions. My mate got an absolute hiding, really bad in England because he was white. It's a fuckin disgrace the amount of slander and accusations of racism being chucked at the leave camp and the stupid fuckers don't realise that every little kid is hearing racist racist racist everywhere so what the fuck is that going to do to their heads.
Well I suppose that's the knighthood fucked.

how did that happen robbo
Because ive lived outside of the UK for over 15 years mate, still doesn't alter the fact that I have a British passport. What changes for me I do not know probably paper work, regarding Pensions, Health ive been paying into the system here so there shouldn't be a problem there.
got it now you fell foul of that ludicrous ruling that you cannot qualify for an overseas elector vote once you have been living abroad for 15 years I was looking into this as I expect to be caught by it in a couple of years too a law to change to a lifelong qualification was on the list of bills this government was going to introduce but it will probably get dropped now disenfranchising people who live overseas but like me still have taxes deducted in the UK is imho an absolute disgrace

What has been really poor is (1) the reaction of Cameron. He has been found out for what he is,a third rate politician. Instead taking sides in the referendum he should have taken a backseat and acted like a true statesman. He would have then been a focal point for a country that is totally split.Half the current problems created by Brexit would be lessened by a strong government. (2) Labour are absolutely pathetic. Not an ounce of socialism in the whole party. The country is in a mess and yet the Labour MPs continue to destabilise in order to further careers. What a bunch of wasters. Time for a National government.
interesting last point steggo crossed my mind too that a national unity coalition might not be a bad short-term option to sort out this mess

In the end, it might not happen. It's an attempt to deny reality, but the longer you try that, the harder reality fucks you with its big spiky cock. I mean think about what's going to happen when the negotiations start. How is the English public going to react when they find out that, on issue after issue, Brexit can give them almost nothing of what they think it will, but is going to take away so so much? It seems based on this notion that Britain can take what it likes from European integration and reject the rest, like ordering from a menu. It's so deluded. Freedom of movement will remain and EU regulations will remain -- otherwise Britain will not have access to the common market. So the average person's experience of European integration will not change at all. Britain will negotiate trade agreements on worse terms with practically every country in the world compared to those it has as part of the EU. As is now already completely undeniable to any rational person, the economic cost is going to be significant. The Tories and UKIP will also dominate English politics for a decade or more.

How will Britain negiaote worst deals bman? 5th largest economy in the world, Norway, Sweden etc. all row their own boat and have a high standard of living. World leaders have already started to come out and make friendly positive noises to the UK.

Here's one thing that really fucks me off, the remains whole campaign was on what MIGHT happen, it was all this negative thing can happen and this maybe could be we don't really know.

If it is so calamitous us leaving, they should have been able to say, here's why we should stay in the eu because it gives us :- insert all the benefits being a member and pumping all that money in and what bang we get for our buck. But they didn't. Now I'm no expert but to me that higher means they felt scaremongering was a better tactic or they were all absolute fuckin idiots or it's embarrassing because the EU does fuck all for us except telling us what to do without us having the power to say no because a load of totally unelected cunts have the ultimate say.

Can someone tell me what the EU was doing for us? Seriously? What fuckin good was it to the ordinary man on the street? Surely that should be the first thing that remain should have opened with. Instead, they actually said, listen we know it's shite but to make it less shite will be easier from the inside.

And changing it from the inside? Cameron really fucked me off and I'm glad he's going but he's not a stupid person, and he went to Europe to demand certain changes, and if he'd got them then remain could have been a foregone, but he got told to fuck off and came back with his tail between his legs.

So what are we losing out on?

A person I know that works on the inside said the eu conceded a lot to the UK when we were in it. We had special allowances to keep us sweet - not that it made much difference to working class people. But politicians had negotiated us a special case.

But nobody knows that. The narrative we get here from the rags in that the eu is constantly getting one over on us, we're a soft touch, that they're going to stop us drinking english beer and all that shite

They should have used those examples in their campaigning Sid, that for me was what pushed a lot of people to leave, the remain camp couldn't make a good enough case to stay.
