We used to do that to teams. And all the spout over Moyes doesn't change the fact that we don't have the players to do it anymore.

I'd much rather we buy no one than spend money on an average player. We've got enough of those. What we need are players who are top draw. Not a Cabaye, decent player though he is. We need someone like a Modric. I'd even take Sneijder, as long as the fee was reasonable.

Fellaini has been an embarrassment but...he wouldn't be the first person to turn his performances around a 'slow start' at a new club. Its not a defence of him, but if he can at least show what he did at Everton, he'd add something to our current midfield. Not what we need, but something.

This might sound completely fucking stupid, but Moyes didn't inherit a squad of champions, he inherited a team that had won the championship. We don't have enough match winners. We don't have midfielders who can control a game. We don't have wide men who can create and score. Or two quality forwards...

De Gea and Jones, fair enough. Vidic is spent in terms of being a regular. I don't think Rooney or RvP will be here next season.
