Re: The Euros

I thought Wales did well against an inept Portugal, it was soon obvious how much they were missing Ramsey in Midfield, and hwo Joe Allen can call himself a footballer I have no idea. Chris Coleman has done well with an average that relies on Bale far too much, how they go forward will depend a lot o...

Re: Next one for the poison chalice ?

I defy anyone to name an English player who could walk into a top team abroad ? back in the 70's and 80's English players were going abroad to play, how many of the England squad are being chased by the likes of Bayern, Barca and Real.... answers on the back of a postage stamp. But even when Englis...

Re: Next one for the poison chalice ?

So nah to Hoddle, fuck ye, you're shite anyway, most overhyped team every tourno and your fans are cunts abroad! Bollocks... how can a team be considered overhyped, when everyone expects them to be shit? The only ones to overhype England were the English pundits, once they start admitting to themse...

This much is true.

At least we can say we have the worst team and the worst fans, both seem to put the same amount of effort into wanting to stay in a tournament for the period !

Other names being mentioned are Klinsman ( A German in charge of England Please NO!). Even Laurent Blanc has been mentioned....

Re: england

Funny Richard the third for being one of our most famous kings, I don't believe actually ever bothered to go England, he spoke French and lived in France, he famously said during the crusades that if he could sell London to fund his crusade he would have. There's an amazing documentary called the C...

Re: england

Never mind the three Lions... change the fuckin anthem... look at every other nation at intros, and right from the off, they get to fire themselves up, and belt out their anthems with real pride and enthusiasm... our lot just mumble though theirs, embarrassed, and pissed off, that they have to sing...

Re: Unrealistic summer transfer wankfest III

So we become a buying club and turn our back on the youth system, Chelsea, City and Arsenal have spent millions each season and failed miserably to win the EPL as often as we have, is a coincidence that when Fergie switched to buying we also lost the desire to win for the club. It looks as though b...

Re: england

I believe the players do not have the football intelligence to succeed at international level. All international managers have the same problems. i.e not enough time with the squad and injuries and club commitments allow players to ignore call ups. Yet they are able to get their players all working...
