Re: OGS.....

The last thing we should be doing is hiring another manager to placate or 'get the best out of Pogba'. The cunt can go. Doesn't want to be here, so move him on for the best price and focus on getting in the best attacking a defensive midfielders we can find. I care much more about the 5-6 signings ...

Re: OGS.....

Fuck me, dumb has found dumber...... Hope this new guy can at least stick to one opinion. Your contribution to this thread has been to confuse a geriatric for one of the hottest current managers in the game, call another poster a wanker, then when your obvious ignorance is pointed out to you, say y...

Re: OGS.....

Allegri is likely the safest realistic option we have, but in Solskjaer's defence, expected goals models have us as the 4th best team so far (and closer to Liverpool/Chelsea than Leicester). I know everyone here hates stats, but even if we just scored the 4 pens we missed, our season would look qui...

Re: OGS.....

Think you're speaking a bit harshly of Ole, but on the basic facts there's no denying that there's a strong argument there. It's a simple fact that results are significantly worse under Ole than any of the previous post-Fergie managers, and that his CV is nothing like what you'd expect for the manag...

Re: OGS.....

Yeah you sack a manager because they're crap, not for one player. And if Pogba wants to go and someone's willing to pay a fair price, we should sell. Allegri is likely the safest realistic option we have, but in Solskjaer's defence, expected goals models have us as the 4th best team so far (and clo...

Re: Other Teams' Stuff

City and Spurs this season are showing how hard it is to keep a team hungry for winning season after season. Ferguson was a rare freak that never seemed to lose any desire to win more, no matter how many times he won, and managed to keep the whole club that way.

Re: vs Brighton

I actually think I might go to the gym instead of watching this. The football we play is so negative and dull, it’s hard to watch.

Why make Solskjaer DoF? We could just hire someone who has a clue, instead of a british first policy.
That would be my ideal preference: top DoF plus an excellent manager. But if Woodward wants to save some face, the Ole as dof thing might be ok too.
